Videoclip Downloads
The video clip download system searches thecloud of CloseRadio for videos that correspond to each title being broadcasted on air. The video file is downloaded to the Video Folder defined in the system.
When a song is played for the first time, the system tries to locate the corresponding video clip. The download may take several seconds or even minutes, so the downloaded track will be visible the first time when the download is complete.
If a video is not found, that title is recorded as music with no associated video, so alternative content is played for that purpose.
Logically, as it is a fully automatic system, it may happen that the downloaded file does not actually correspond to the audio, or to the audio version. There may also be differences in the length of the song, which will cause time lags and/or loss of sync. In such cases, the user can manually replace one file with another, in the Video Folder, keeping the name, so that it remains associated with the corresponding song; or activate the audio replacement.
The automatically downloaded files can be edited, from the CLOSE RadioTV MediaManager module, to add input and output markings.
TO KEEP IN MIND
When CLOSE RadioTV works in conjunction with Solidyne Audicom Producer on-air management software, it takes directly the videos played by Audicom. This more advanced mode ensures 100% correspondence and synchronism between audio and video.
Module Enabled: Enables or disables the video clip download module.
Play video as soon as download is finished: If this option is enabled, the clip will start playing as soon as it is downloaded. But logically it will have a significant lag with respect to the audio, depending on the download time. To avoid this, deactivate this option. The content assigned for audio will be played without image. When the title is played a second time, the video will be played immediately. This also allows the user to check the downloaded material before it is aired, and assign start and end marks if applicable.
Download limit: Allows you to set a limit to the disk space used by video downloads. When the limit is reached, titles with fewer plays are deleted to allow new titles to be downloaded.
Security and musical style in the detection: There are different algorithms that modify the criteria and the rigorousness of the search.
