Capture Controlled Firefox window
The VideoSwitchmodule allows to launch a controlled window of the Firefox browser, allowing to automate its capture. This controlled window has a fixed size, so it does not require any readjustment of the scene. The position on the screen is freely defined by the user and does not affect the capture.
To capture a controlled Firefox window proceed as follows:
- Verify that no Firefox window is open.
- In the Video Switch module, activate the EDIT mode.
- Click on the Firefox Controlled option. A Firefox window of fixed size will be launched.
- In the Video Encoder window, right-click and choose Add→ Window Capture.
- Enter a name for the new Element.
- In the Window field, select "Mozilla Firefox".
- In the "Mozilla Firefox URL" field enter the URL address to be displayed.
- Configure the capture options and press OK.
The Controlled Firefox Capture item is now available to be displayed in the scenes.
It is possible to create several Firefox capture elements to display different web pages.
